Body of Athletic Director's Application
The duties of an Athletic Director includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Communicate
with the students interested in/signed-up in your sport. 2. Keep track of basic records of the students in your sport:
eligibility, GPA, insurance, etc. 3. Communicate with Athletic Directors of other schools, schedule games/meets, coordinate
details. 4. Find practice and game locations. 5. Work with other PCHS Athletic Directors when developing uniforms,
team decisions, fund raisers, etc. 6. Work out conflicts between students, parents, coaches, other teams, etc. 7.
Ensure coach, students and parents are in compliance with FHSAA rules and guidelines at all times. 8. Attend most, if
not all, games and several practices. Make yourself available to help. 9. Obtain final approval on all major decisions
from Head Athletic Director and PCHS Administrator. 10. Be accountable to Head Athletic Director and PCHS Board for Christ-like
actions and attitudes.
I, ________________________ do hereby acknowledge by my signature below, that as an Athletic
Director for PCHS, the welfare of the student athletes under my supervision is my primary concern. My duty is to alert parents
about behavior concerns, etc. and consult with the Head Athletic Director and/or other officers of PCHS to take proper action
when necessary. I am aware that I will be expected to exercise Christian values with proper attitude and actions that will
glorify the Lord and give PCHS the reputation desired for a Christian organization. I understand that if my conduct as Athletic
Director is unsatisfactory to the athletes, parents or officers of PCHS, I will be fairly warned by the Head Athletic Director
and/or Administrator and if in the event of subsequent occurrences, the matter will be turned over to the Board of Directors
for proper action.
Body of Coach's Application
The duties of a Coach includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Help the Athletic
Director keep track of student records in your sport. 2. Assist the Athletic Director in scheduling games, practice locations
and times. 3. Run practices, always making sure that they are adequately supervised. 4. Help coordinate and run training
camps as needed. 5. Put fair play, team cooperation, and player development ahead of win/loss records. 6. Resolve
conflicts between students, parents, coaches and other teams as quickly as possible. 7. Be accountable to Athletic Director
and PCHS Board for Chris-like actions and attitudes.
